Forest mother-Of-Pearl is a species of Nymphalidae butterfly found in forested areas of Africa. It has a pearlescent wing colouration and gleams pinky / purple in the light. The true stuff of fantasy, these wings are so beatifully shaped they could belong to a fairy! A beautiful addition on it's own, or added to any collection.
The wingspan is 65–80 mm for males and 75–90mm for females. This is a male specimen.
