This delicious & very elegant necklace is made with sterling silver, gold plating, lemon quartz, white coral, pearls & seed pearls. It can be worn long with the rose lying down your back or doubled, more like a choker.

Julia deVille (born 1982) is an artist, jeweller and taxidermist who only uses subjects in her taxidermy that have died of natural causes. She is an advocate for animal rights, and began including taxidermy in her art works in 2002. She combined it with her jewellery making practice producing small (& not so small) sculptures and installations. DeVille's interest in memento mori traditions of the fifteenth to eighteen centuries and Victorian mourning jewellery inform her process.

Delivery and shipping info

Shipping within New Zealand.

All orders will be charged on a weight-based calculation at checkout. All New Zealand orders are shipped fully-tracked and traced with an estimated delivery of 1-4 working days.

All Rural NZ orders will take 1-3 days longer than standard shipping.

Please note: Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship out the following Tuesday (excluding holidays). We don’t offer Saturday delivery.

NZ – Shipping oversized items.

Over-sized items such as large artworks and pieces of home decor will incur a delivery fee. This fee is dependent on your order, weight and the location that it is being delivered to, please contact us at hello@florafauna.co.nz to provide a courier quote.

If you choose to purchase online & wish to collect in store please enter PICKUP at the checkout.

International Shipping.

We ship to Asia, Australia, Europe & North America. All orders will be charged on a weight-based calculation/ location at checkout.

All International orders will be shipped using DHL, and should arrive in 10-15 business days, depending on the destination.
