The butterfly is named for its resemblance to an archaic, dark hooded cloak traditionally worn by individuals during periods of mourning. Its velvety, purplish-brown wings are bordered by striking yellow edges and a row of iridescent blue spots, mimicking the trimming of a somber funeral shawl. It is found in North America and across Eurasia. Frame Size: 18cm x 18cm We place great importance on the ethical origin of the insects and butterflies. Delivery and shipping info

Shipping within New Zealand.

All orders will be charged on a weight-based calculation at checkout. All New Zealand orders are shipped fully-tracked and traced with an estimated delivery of 1-4 working days.

All Rural NZ orders will take 1-3 days longer than standard shipping.

Please note: Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship out the following Tuesday (excluding holidays). We don’t offer Saturday delivery.

NZ – Shipping oversized items.

Over-sized items such as large artworks and pieces of home decor will incur a delivery fee. This fee is dependent on your order, weight and the location that it is being delivered to, please contact us at hello@florafauna.co.nz to provide a courier quote.

If you choose to purchase online & wish to collect in store please enter PICKUP at the checkout.

International Shipping.

We ship to Asia, Australia, Europe & North America. All orders will be charged on a weight-based calculation/ location at checkout.

All International orders will be shipped using DHL, and should arrive in 10-15 business days, depending on the destination.
